Works and interests:Budha joined IISER Mohali as an Integrated Ph.D. student in 2017. During his coursework, he was part of various research groups working on different model organisms (Zebrafish, C.elegans and Arabidopsis). He started his Ph.D. research work at SBS lab in December 2018 and he is currently investigating the role of phytohormones in response to abiotic stress in Arabidopsis thaliana. In his free time, he likes to do trekking and mountain biking, where he can feel something new from within and always finding countless ways to soak in the spirit of the outdoors.

Works and interests:I am doing my MS Thesis Project in SBS lab which includes working on a gene that is induced under iron deficiency in the roots of Arabidopsis thaliana, and trying to fill the knowledge gaps in the molecular pathway of Iron signalling in roots. The Socioeconomic & environmental effects of scientific works pique my interest. Anime, movies, and video games consume a significant chunk of my leisure time.
